Perseus Technologies GmbH was founded in September 2017 with the vision of enabling permanent IT security and data protection. The aim of Perseus' employee-centered offering is to establish a sustainable cyber security culture along all phases of a cyber attack. The Perseus concept includes browser-based employee training, 24/7 cyber emergency assistance, intelligent anti-virus software and a cyber protection letter.
To ensure sustainable cyber protection for companies, Perseus offers five product modules: Perseus Care, Perseus Check, Perseus Alert, Perseus Fair and Perseus Dock. Perseus DOCK: The cyber portal for Perseus customers unites all our cyber security services in one place.
Perseus CARE: The tools in the Perseus Care product aim at the holistic sensitisation of employees to promote the cyber security culture throughout the company.
Perseus ALERT: Perseus Alert provides immediate help in an emergency to clear systems of harmful influences and to initiate punctual preventive measures - around the clock.
Perseus CHECK: Perseus' active search for security gaps, combined with specific recommendations for action, ensures better cyber protection.
Perseus FAIR: The Perseus marketplace offers you a selection of useful software extensions for special security needs from reliable cooperation partners.
The company name Perseus is based on the legend of Perseus. This hero of Greek mythology stands for protection and security. For its commitment, Perseus was awarded the Digital Lighthouse Award for innovative insurance products by Google and Süddeutsche Zeitung in December 2018.
The more than 60 employees are from nineteen nations and work together in the Fintech Hub H:32 in Berlin. Perseus has been a 100 percent part of the HDI Group since 1 February 2020.
